In 2012, Anja Carruthers opened the first office of Anconsult Business Solutions on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Back then, we operated as a BAS agent specialising in small businesses. 

In 2017, we moved to the Maitland area, and expanded our services from bookkeeping to CFO and financial controlling services.

Today, after more than 30 years in bookkeeping and small business management, Anja Carruthers helps Australian business owners make sense of their finances and get the information they need to confidently grow strong businesses with solid foundations.

With more than 30 years of experience in the financial and hospitality industry in Australia and Europe, Anja provides a wealth of expertise in financial controlling and small business management.

In her senior roles in large hospitality groups and start-ups, Anja developed financial and operational systems that empowered small businesses to be profitable sustainably.

Anja enjoys driving around Australia with her family during the holidays, as well as writing.

For over 25 years Lydia has been serving a variety of industries including non for profit, manufacturing and advertising.

Through caring for the financial management of large and small companies, she has an invaluable set of skills, experience and knowledge in the best practice of the efficient running of business.

Lydia enjoys relaxing through artistic painting and crafts. 

Jessica Grey

Jessica Grey


Jessica has years of various experience in hospitality operations and is currently undertaking a traineeship in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
As Administration Officer, Jessica covers all aspects of administration for clients including data entry, communication with suppliers, and coordinating with operations.
In her spare time, she enjoys studying Ancient History, craft, and travelling.
